You hear of many fashion weeks that are happening around the world but this time there is a Pakistan fashion week where many famous Pakistan fashion designers took part in it with new debutant who showed and presented their summer collections. It was followed by Pakistan Fashion Design Council's Sun silk Pakistan that first happened in Lahore. Those designers who took part in it were from Karachi to Lahore.
There were many colors of Pakistan fashion industry that was seen and appreciated. Mahgul Rashid made her debut in it with her couture label Nasreen Shaikh. In her collection she used creatively old photographs taken from Civil and Military gazette for inspiration and reprinted them on denim, satin and organza.
There were also the colors of royal and ethnic wears showcasing Pakistan's tradition and culture in salwar kameez, lacha and similar garment like dhoti, besides this there were representation of Pakistani sarees with beautiful manipulations in designs. Among all designs there were also warrior collection which was designed by Fahad Hussayn that presented the bravery and courage of people of Pakistan who amidst all odds and adversity fought with pride.
Pakistan fashion happened with lot of appreciation and praise giving platform to new designers and presenting its culture and tradition among other themes where we saw a mixture of different designs from around the world.
