4G internet Services commenced in Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkula

Bangalore did win the first in India 4G services. Following it, now Chandigarh, Panchkula and Ambala have also got the blazing fast experience over the air with 4G. 4G is the 4th Generation of mobile telecommunication technology. The current generation of telecom technology working in india is 3G and 2G out of which maximum users are enjoying 3G internet on various devices like Laptop, Smartphones, Tablets etc.

Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula received this service from the telecom service provider Bharti Airtel. This service is currently available only for Smartphones. Hub CEO of Bharti Airtel, Mr. Manu Sood said, "We are proud to announce the launch of the much-awaited 4G on mobile, empowering residents in the region to upgrade to 4G,"

The 4G services were till now available only on mobile dongles. Chandigarh is the second city after Bangalore to have this facility. Apple iPhone 5S and Apple 5C users will now be able to enjoy this service. Apart from these phone users, Xolo LT 900 and LG G2 will also experience this service. Initially, Airtel will be providing 4g services at the price of 3G i.e. Rs.250 for 1 GB.

The CEO further added "Customers will experience never-before capabilities like high-definition video streaming with zero buffering, downloading 10 movies in less than 30 minutes, uploading full holiday albums in less than five minutes by uploading 2 high quality photos per second and also connecting multiple devices without any experience constraint,"
