Reliance Jio Effect: Idea Up With 14GB Data, Unlimited Free Calls At Rs. 348

Idea, the second largest telecom operator in India, in lieu to counter the Reliance Jio effect has introduced an attractive recharge plan for its prepaid customers. The latest Idea plan is of Rs. 348, that offers 500MB Data per day along with free unlimited calls. The total internet data being offered is of 14GB, which seems good at the above price and is also similar to other telecom operators of the country. This move from the company doesn't come as a surprise as Reliance Jio has almost forced other telecom operators to come up with affordable mobile plans to reduce the threat posed by the Reliance Industries-owned Jio.

It must be noted that the aforesaid offer is only for the selected low data consuming users, so as to boost them for higher internet usage. The Idea users ought to have a 4G handset to avail this plan but a 4G enable SIM is not mandatory to get this new offer from Idea. It is also important to note that this is still not an open market offer and can only be availed if the company chooses you for the offer.
