HMD Global has sent the invites to press media for the launch event which will be scheduled on 29th May in Russia. From the press invites, we are not able to identify that what the company would announce at the launch event, but the rumors are indicating that the Finnish based smartphone manufacturer company is likely to unveil the refreshed/ 2018 versions of the Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and the Nokia 5. The press invite is clearly indicating that the top representatives of HMD Global namely Lorian Seiche (CEO), Pekka Rantala (CMO), and Juho Sarvikas (CPO) will attend the launch event.

Earlier this month, Juho Sarvikas teased that the company could be planning to soon launch the refreshed version of Nokia 5 smartphone. However, he does not reveal the detail specifications such as hardware and design that the new Nokia 5 would bring with and when the company would unveil the new Nokia 5.
The CMO of HMD Global, Pekka Rantala had confirmed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year in February that the company would soon unveil the 2018 editions of Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and Nokia 2.
The press invite demonstrates a picturesque landscape in the background which pointing towards the camera quality of the new Nokia phones. As per the teaser posted by the technical website reads "Dear friends. We invite you to worldwide premiere new Nokia phones." It simply trying to indicate that the refreshed versions of Nokia will be unveiled globally and India would be one of the markets where the new smartphones will be available for purchase simultaneously.
Recently, the Finnish company has recently launched the Nokia X6 budget smartphone in Beijing. So far, the company has not announced when the Nokia X6 will unveil globally. The Nokia X6 is the first smartphone in the Nokia series that features an Apple iPhone X notch. To recall, the Nokia X6 comes with a 5.8-inch full-HD+display with the screen resolution of (1080x2280 pixels) and protected with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB/ 6GB of RAM, 3060mAh battery. The smartphone is equipped with AI feature which is key highlights of Nokia X6 and helps to capture good quality images. It packs a dual 16MP + 5MP rear cameras with an aperture rate of f/2.0 and 1-micron pixels. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone sport a 16MP front-facing camera with the same f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixel sensor.
