The company has officially launched the affordable Realme X and Realme X Lite in China on 15th May 2019. The Realme has brought the pop-up selfie camera in its lineup for the very first time through the Realme X smartphone. The Realme X also flaunts the glass back along with the gradient finish in the ‘S’ shaped curve as well as the under-display fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the Realme X Lite is the Realme 3 Pro smartphone but with the name change. Realme 3 Pro stepped in India in April.
The Realme for the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory variant has priced the Realme X in China at CNY 1,499 which is around INR 15,400 in terms of Indian Currency. While the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage variant costs CNY 1,599 i.e. around INR 16,400 and the high-spec variant with 8GB of RAM and 128B of internal storage variant carries a price tag of CNY 1,799 which is around INR 18,500.
The company also brought a special Naoto Fukasawa collection of the smartphone which has the same finish as of the onion and garlic peels in 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. This smartphone will come with a price sticker of CNY 1,899 which is INR 19,500.
The company will offer the Realme X in two color options- Blue and White with a gradient finish. The company said that the smartphone can be pre-ordered in China through the Realme store, T-mall, JD.com, and Suning.com. The Realme X will go on sale by next week on May 20 at 10 AM local time.
The Realme X flaunts a 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, and 91.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The display gets the protection from the Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the smartphone comes with octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC, which is mated with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
In terms of the optics, the Realme X comes with dual rear camera setup which consists of a primary 48-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, the smartphone includes 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and this sensor is positioned in the pop-up selfie camera.

The Realme X is fueled up by the 3,765mAh battery along with the VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The smartphone also comes with the in-display fingerprint scanner for security purpose.
In terms of the connectivity option, the smartphone includes Dolby Atmos support, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5, and GPS. The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone measures 161.2 x 76.9 x 9.4 mm and weighs 191 grams. The handset runs ColorOS 6.0 based Android Pie out of the box.

The Realme X Lite is the rebranded variant of the Realme 3 Pro which was launched in India in April. The smartphone flaunts a 6.3-inch full-HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone gets the power from the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, which is mated with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal memory which can further be expanded via a microSD card slot.
In terms of the photography, the Realme X Lite comes with dual rear camera setup which contains a primary 16-megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The front, the smartphone flaunts a 25-megapixel selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture which is housed in the dewdrop notch for selfies and video calling.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme X Lite comes with a fingerprint scanner which is positioned at the back of the smartphone for security purpose. In terms of the connectivity, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and a micro-USB port. The smartphone runs ColorOS 6.0 based Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The Realme X Lite gets fueled up with the 4,045mAh battery along with the VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The smartphone measures 156.8 x 74.2 x 8.3 mm and the weight is 172 grams.
