Alcatel, again unveiled a new smartphone named as Pixi 4 in the Indian segment, which will be available via e-commerce giant Flipkart on a retail price tag of INR 4,999. One must recall, Alcatel had launched 7-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch variants of Pixi 4 earlier this year at CES 2016.
The Dual SIM smartphone supports Micro SIM and has connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB 2.0. The smartphone boots on Android 6.0 Marshmallow while the device features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution display.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735M processor engaged with 1GB of RAM. Talking about the optics, it includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and both feature flash modules.
The Alcatel Pixi 4 has an inbuilt 8GB of storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB) and it is fuelled by a 2000mAh removable battery pack. Some special features are like that photos taken by the camera are given an added dimension with exclusive Polaroid filters that allow users to make collages, add effects, borders, texts and a powerful music experience with Arkamys optimized speakers.
