After enjoying the zest of CES 2015, Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 (4.5) smartphone has made its appearance on company's official website. As we know, many noted corporations had introduced their well-built brand-new devices during this annual event held in Las Vegas to show their supremacy and dominance. In this sequence, Owned by a Chinese television giant: TCL, Alcatel OneTouch has also comprised its new scion with decent specifications to make its stronghold in the booming world of smartphones.
Diving into OneTouch Pop 2 (4.5), then most highlighted part of gadget is its compatibility with 4G LTE networks. Apart from 4G, mobile phone bestows Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS with A-GPS options on connectivity front.In terms of memory, device is arrayed with 1GB RAM along with 8GB ROM, which is expandable upto 32GB via a MicroSD card.
Running on Google's Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, mobile has 4.5-inch FWVGA display with Capacitive 2 points touch that delivers a pixel resolution of 480x854p. As per listing, smartphone is powered by a 2000mAh battery that is rated to render talk time of 8 hours and 12 hours on 2G and 3G networks respectively.
Clubbed with 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, handheld incorporates a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash alongside a 0.3-megapixel front shooter. Just like Android Lollipop-equipped Pop 2 (4), Pop 2 (4.5) will also be available in single-SIM and dual-SIM variants. Furthermore, smartphone is integrated with proximity and light sensors.
However, an exact date of availability and pricing details have not been announced by tech giant, but it will go on sale in Mainstream and Lifestyle color versions. Where, Mainstream edition provides choices among Volcano Black, Platinum Silver and White shades, while another one offers Lemon Yellow, Jade Green and Lavender.
