Amazon India is now expected to launch a brand new budget smartphone in India called as 10.or D and it will host its first sale on 5th January that is expected to come with an entry-level price tag. Registrations for the new budget smartphone have already started with Amazon Prime members set to be provided an additional one-year warranty.
The 10.or D features a 5.2-inch HD display with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor Adreno 308 GPU, coupled with 2GB and 3GB RAM options with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage. It is packs a 3500mAh Li-Po battery that is claimed to deliver up to 25 hours of talk time or up to 10 hours of data access on a single charge. There is a built-in fingerprint sensor on the back, which promises to unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds (when the phone is on.
The budget smartphone is run on Android 7.1 much like the 10.or E and 10.or G. For the connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone jack and support for OTG among other things.

Amazon India had partnered with Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huaquin Technology for the 10.or E and 10.or G, while the 10.or D will come from Shanghai-headquartered Longcheer.
As mentioned earlier, the 10.or D is not the first smartphone to be released under the 10.or brand. Amazon launched the 10.or E E and 10.or G. The 10.or E went on sale in the country in September at a price of Rs. 7,999, whereas the 10.or G was launched later that month with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. There is not much details in terms of specifications or price just yet but the smartphones will be priced around Rs 9,999.
