A Taiwanese company AOC has come to India and introduced its smartphone, M601 at the budget price of Rs. 8,390. The 6-inch bigger phablet is available online to buy. However, there is no official announcement of this handset. You can see the handset on Company India website with specifications.
This handset supports single SIM and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. AOC M601 features 6-inch IPS display which can provide qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution. The handset looks stylish in aesthetic with red and black combination. The dual-core processor, clocked at 1.3GHz to improve the performance. It is coupled with 512MB of RAM which is quite disappointing at this price tag while several other smartphones are already providing the bigger RAM at such price range. Moto E, Micromax Canvas Unite 2 A106 are few among them.
Store huge data on a single device is no more tension as this smartphone is blessed with 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB using microSD card. AOC M601 is paired with a 5-megapixel rear camera which is sufficient for a budget handset. With the help of LED flash, it will enhance the imaging experience also. A secondary camera of 0.3-megapxiel clarity is also on-board.
On the connectivity side, this handset offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and FM radio support. It is fueled by a 2100mAh battery which is powerful enough to bless this device with talk time of up to 12 hours. The AOC M601 also supports regional language input, thanks to its Adaptxt Keyboard. The manufacturer is also offering free F-Secure Antivirus to buyers of this device for 365 days.
The Taiwanese company is also providing free movies worth Rs. 2,000 for 60 days from Your Movies app. You can also download music worth Rs. 1,000 for 365 days free from Hungama app. This handset is currently available on Amazon India to buy.
