Apple, a manufacturer of computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers and gadgets has launched iOS 7.1 on Monday. The iOS 7.1 has updated features with "Car Play" and Siri improvements. Apple has announced its updated iOS for iPhones and iPads.
Car Play is the feature for car infotainment system. It works for the users of iPhone or iPad to use in their car. This lets you to control music, maps and Siri and touch screen of your car's infotainment system.
This updated version of iOS will also fix all bugs like "black/white screen of death" which switches the screen of iPhone in crashed mode even when iPhone is being used. This updated iOS has added some improvements on Siri with ameliorated finger print sensor.
Before the announcement of iOS7.1, users need to press the home button for activating Siri but the new version is updated with "continue holding the button", when you speak. It also features new voice options including British English, Australian English and Mandarin Chinese.
The previous version iOS7 also came with lots of features but it had the issue of rebooting which has been overcome by the updated version of iOS7, which was launched last year. It also makes the changes in the design with dark effect of colors. It is also made the modification in the calendar app by adding the country specific holidays and provides some changes in camera.
For the users of iPhone 5S, Apple has introduced the enhanced finger print recognition for improving reliability. You can download the app free of cost. For downloading the app, there are some simple steps. Just go to the ‘Software update’ under general Setting and download the app. This requires the space of 1.9GB.
