Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be launching in India on 29th September. Apple iPhone 8 with 64GB storage will cost at Rs. 64,000 and 256GB storage variant will cost at Rs. 77,000. Whereas the iPhone 8 Plus starts at Rs. 73,000 for 64GB storage and 256GB storage variant will cost at Rs 86000.
This time, the Apple iPhone 8 series comes in only two storage variants of 64GB and 256GB. There is no 32GB storage variant like last year’s iPhone 7. Apple iPhone X with 64GB storage will cost at Rs. 89,000 while 256GB storage variant will cost at Rs. 102,000. The iPhone X launches officially on 3rd November.
Apple also says that their own accessories including leather and silicone cases will be available in a range of colors for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus starting at Rs 3,100. Also, lightning docks in color-matching metallic finishes will also be available for Rs 4,700. From a design perspective, Apple iPhone 8 series is glass and aluminum and comes in three colors variants: Silver, Space Grey, and a new gold finish. The glass back is to support wireless charging.
The iPhone 8 comes with 4.7-inch Retina HD display with True Tone whereas iPhone 8 Plus comes with 5.5-inch Retina HD display with True Tone. Both the handset is powered by the A11 Bionic chip, which is a six-core processor with four efficiency cores coupled with 64GB and 256GB storage variants. The handsets run on an A11 bionic chip which is embedded with a new Stereo Speakers. Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are both water and dust resistant. Both phones have Touch ID for authentication and there’s no edge-to-edge display.
The iPhone 8 is equipped with a single lens camera with the 12MP sensor. The front camera on the iPhone 8 series is 7MP with Retina Flash for improved selfies. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has the 12 MP+ 12MP rear cameras with Portrait mode, a new Portrait Lighting (beta) and 4K video up to 60 fps. Apple also brought wireless charging support to both phones and these phones will work with Qi chargers, which is the universal standard.
The iPhone 8 series also has redesigned stereo speakers: 25% louder than the speakers in the 7. On the processor front, Apple is claiming the four efficiency cores are 70 percent faster than the A10 Fusion. The new chip also integrates an Apple-designed GPU with a three-core design that delivers up to 30 percent faster graphics performance.
The iPhone X celebrates the 10th anniversary of Apple's devices, featuring a radical redesign and new technology. The iPhone X has equipped with 5.8-inch OLED screen, which fills the entire front of the device. iPhone X doesn't have a home button! replacing it with facial recognition software called Face ID.
Face ID is used to unlock the phone, authenticate Apple Pay and customise the new animoji. The Face ID also works with third-party apps.

The iPhone X is made of stainless steel and glass. The new device will be available in two colors variants: i.e. Silver and Grey. It comes with 5.8 inch Super Retina display screen with the resolution of 2436 * 1125 pixels and 458ppi. It comes with True Depth camera system which has flood illuminator, infrared camera, speaker, microphone among other things!
iPhone X is powered by a 64-bit processor, Quad-LED True Tone Flash, 12MP dual rear cameras and multitude of other features. The iPhone X comes in 64GB and 256GB variant.
Apple also announced an update to its streaming box, the Apple TV, introducing 4K which is twice as fast and runs graphics four times faster. At the heart of the Apple TV is A10X chip, it's the same chip one on the iPad Pro. The technology greatly increases picture quality and the appearance of colors on the screen, and will also support 4K content from the likes of Netflix and Amazon.
While launching Apple Watch Series 3 model, Cook said that Apple Watch is the No. 1 watch in the world. It grew over 50 per cent year-on-year and has achieved 97 percent customer satisfaction. The Series 3 has several variants including new gold aluminum, a new band called Sports Loop and the new version of the App.
