Asus has launched the new smartphone, which looks similar to the LTE variant of the last year's Asus ZenFone Go. The newly unveiled smartphone is named as Asus ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE (T500) and is available for purchase at a price tag of Rs. 7,999 via Snapdeal and Amazon India. It is the company's latest edition under the affordable smartphone segment.

In terms of specifications, the Asus Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE features a 5-inch HD IPS display having a resolution of 1280*720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8916 SoC processor that powers the Asus ZenFone Go and is coupled with 2GB of RAM. On the software end, the Asus ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE runs Android KitKat with the Zen UI skin atop
For the storage, the dual SIM based handset has a native storage of 16GB, that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. In addition, the company is also offering users a 5GB of free lifetime Asus WebStorage.
At the photography department, the GSM mobile incorporates 8-megapixel camera at the rear end with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. For the connectivity, Asus ZenFone Go includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and other standard connectivity options.
It is backed by a 2500mAh battery and is available in Charcol Black and Pearl White color variant.
