Asus, the renowned Chinese mobile maker has unveiled a new nearly bezel-less display smartphone under its ZenFone Max series of smartphone named - ZenFone Max Plus(M1) with 18:9 display ratio. It must be noted that the company has not disclosed the price and date of availability of this latest Asus mobile.
The handset comes with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen and operates on Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI 4.0 skin on top. There are two storage variants of the smartphone - 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB with the help of microSD card. The gadget comes powered by an octa-core MediaTek 6750T processor. The ZenFone Max Plus(M1) has a metal body design with a fingerprint on the rear panel, which is claimed to unlock the handset in less than 0.3 seconds. The smartphone will be made available colors - Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold, and Azure Silver.

The second major highlight of this latest Asus mobile is it's dual rear camera set up - 16MP+8MP. There's an 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The handset has been backed by a massive battery size of 4130mAh battery that supports quick charging. The ZenFone Max Plus (M1) comes with face unlock feature. The handset is currently launched in Russia and is soon expected to hit the other parts of the world.
