Asus ZenFone 6 is all set to launch on 16th May and just before the launch, a ZenFone 6 variant has been spotted on Geekbench with model number Asus_I01WD. This is the same model number smartphone which got the Wi-Fi Alliance certification at the end of the March. It is speculated that the smartphone might be the ZenFone 6Z.
The Geekbench listing also unveiled specification of the forthcoming smartphone which includes an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The availability of the smartphone is still not known.
The Asus ZenFone 6Z gained a score of 3,527 in single-core and in multi-core, it scored 11,190. The real performance results may differ as these scores are of the prototype and not the actual product.

The company has not given any information about the name of the smartphone so saying about it will be wrong now. It might be a regular ZenFone 6 or might also be one of its variant.
Aforementioned, the same model number handset was seen on the Wi-Fi Alliance website to receive the certification last week. The certification disclosed that the smartphone will come with dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.
In February 2019, an advertisement was posted which disclosed the launch date of the ZenFone 6 series i.e. on 16th May in Valencia, Spain. In the promo, we can see that there is an outline of a device which have a bezel-less display along with a notch. Later, Asus gave a thumbs up on the launch date via a tweet.
