ZenFone Max M1 and ZenFone Lite L1 have been unveiled by Asus in India. The attractions of these smartphones include a single rear camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC.
The notch is not available in both smartphones. The Max M1 comes with a massive 4,000mAh battery, whereas the Lite L1 features a 3,000mAh battery.
A fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear panel of Max M1, while the ZenFone Lite L1 has a face unlock feature. Both, ZenFone Max M1 and ZenFone Lite L1 support microSD card and dual- SIM slots.
In India, the Asus ZenFone Lite L1 comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999 which will be available in Black and Gold color options. During the festive season, the Lite L1 is to be made available at an introductory price of Rs 5,999, though, Asus has not mentioned the last date of introductory price of the gadget.
On another hand, the Asus ZenFone Max M1 has been priced at Rs 8,999. It has been launched in Black and Gold color variants. As a part of the festive season, Asus is offering ZenFone Max M1 at an introductory price of Rs 7,499.
Asus reported that both of the smartphones will be available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart during the Dhamaka Days sale, the date will be revealed sooner in the upcoming days.
Interested users can avail cashback of Rs 2,200 from Reliance Jio with complimentary 50 GB internet data on the purchase of Max M1 and Lite L1. Asus is offering mobile protection at just Rs 99 while its original price is Rs 399.
Furthermore, Flipkart is also offering No Cost EMI options for up to six months on both smartphones.
The Asus ZenFone Max M1 is a premium variant and comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display. It offers commonly found 18:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits brightness, 800:1 contrast ratio, 65 percent NTSC color gamut, and 82 percent screen-to-body ratio. From software front, it runs on Android Oreo - out- of- the- box.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be extended up to 256 GB by using a microSD card.
For photography, the Asus ZenFone Max M1 has a 13MP single rear camera featuring an aperture of /2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, PDAF, and LED flash support.
Up front, the smartphone gets an 8MP selfie snapper offering an aperture of f/2.2 and 1.12um pixel size, and LED flash support. The camera app is preloaded with features like beauty filters, portrait mode, and HDR mode.
The Asus ZenFone Max M1 is armed with a 4,000mAh battery which will be bundled with 10 Watt charger with the support of fast charging capabilities. The connectivity options on the Max M1 include Wi-Fi 80211 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, APGPS, GPS, GLONASS.
The smartphone comes with an accelerometer, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope. It weighs 150 grams and measures 147.3x70.9x8.7mm.
Asus ZenFone Lite L1 share most of the specifications with Max M1 excluding camera, battery, storage and fingerprint scanner. The Zenfone Lite L1 has a 5MP selfie snapper featuring an aperture of f/2.2, 1.2um pixel size, and LED flash while the rear sensor lens of Lite L1 is identical to Max M1.
For the security purpose, it has a face unlock instead of a physical one. It packs a 3,000mAh battery. It is available in 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage configuration which can be extended up to 256GB by using a dedicated microSD card.
The dimensions of the Lite L1 are 147.26x71.77x8.15mm and weight is 140 grams. The remaining specifications of ZenFone Lite L1 are similar to Zenfone Max M1
