Asus, Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has conducted an event on December 11 in where the company would unveil the ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2 in the Indian market. Before the official introduction of flagship smartphones, ZenFone Max M2 has appeared on the official website in Russia and Russian e-commerce platforms along with detailed specifications. As the leaks already suggest that the both of the smartphones have display notches on the front panel and a larger bezel-less display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
As per the Russian website, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 has been priced at RUB 17,990 (roughly Rs. 19,000). Furthermore, it is available for pre-orders particularly in Russia, though, it will go on sale from December 12 in Russia. The smartphone has been listed with a single Blue color option.
Customers who pre-ordered the ZenFone Max Pro M2 in Russia will get a free JBL Tuner speaker and a free pair of Asus FonMate headphones. It must be noted that this offer will be applicable only in Russia.
In Russia, The ZenFone Max M2 comes with a price tag of RUB 12,990 (around Rs. 13,700). It is available for purchase on Asus' official website in Russia only in single Black color option and can be purchased in the form of installments.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 gets a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display panel along with a 19:9 aspect ratio and has a screen resolution of 1080x2280 pixels. The dual- sim phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. For storing content, the smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In terms of the camera department, the ZenFone Max Pro M2 packs dual 13MP+12MP sensors on the rear panel. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone gets 5MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, it is armed with a 5,000mAh battery.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. The smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It measures 157.9x75.5x8.5mm and weighs 170 grams.
The Asus ZenFone Max M2 features a 6.3-inch HD+IPS LCD display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio and has a screen resolution of 720x1520 pixels. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
In terms of lens, the ZenFone Max M2 gets dual sensors consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper. It packs a 4,000mAh battery under the hood.
The connectivity options on the Asus ZenFone Max M2 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 158.41x76.28x7.7mm and 160 grams respectively.
