Blu, the American smartphone manufacturing firm has unveiled it's all new R1 Plus smartphone in the US. the handset is blessed with 4G LTE connectivity and is available officially via online retailers including Amazon and Best Buy across the country. The highlighting feature of the device is its massive 4000mAh battery, and apart from it, the company is also offering a discount of USD 50 (Rs 3,200 approx) on the new offering as a part of its 24-hour launch deal.
Concerning the specifications, the Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display along with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels, curved OnCell Glass and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz Mediatek 6737 SoC and has been offered in two RAM/ storage variants by the company.
The 32GB storage/3GB RAM variant of the GSM handset is available at Amazon with a price tag of USD 159.99 (Rs 10,300 approx), whereas, the 16GB storage/2GB RAM variant of it is available with a price tag of USD 140 (Rs 9,000 approx).
In term of optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone packs 13-megapixel of rear camera with LED flash. An 8-megapixel front shooter has also been provided by the company with LED flash for selfie enthusiasts. It is backed up by a 4000mAh battery and includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB 2.0 as connectivity options.
