Comio, the Chinese based company unveils the new budget segment smartphone in India with the name tag Comio C1 Pro at a price tag of Rs 5,599. The new smartphone comes with features such as dual 4G VoLTE/ ViLTE, facial recognition, intruder selfie, Venus Browse, regional language support, font application, bike mode and among others which icompete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5.
The company is offering Comio C1 Pro budget segment smartphone in three color options: Metallic Grey, Royal Black, and Sunrise Gold. The smartphone comes with multiple font support in the user interface which is the key highlighting feature of the Comio C1 Pro.

The company is offering 15 months warranty, 30- day replacement and one-time screen replacement warranty on the purchase of Comio C1 Pro. Additionally, the Comio C1 Pro buyers will get 40 percent instant discount in an exchange of 12- months old Comio smartphone.
Addressing at the launch event, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, CEO and Director of Comio Smartphone stated in a press release, “We believe that consumers in this price segment deserve better features and our budget-friendly C1 Pro smartphone provides a pot-pourri of exciting features like good camera quality, better speed, security features, stylish design and value-added service”.
The Comio C1 Pro will be available for purchase via offline retail channel stores and also at various online platform channels such as Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, ShopClues, and Snapdeal.
The Comio has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer cashback of Rs 2,200 in the form of 44 vouchers, each voucher worth amounting Rs 50. To avail the Reliance Jio cashback offer, the users are required to make the first recharge either of Rs 198 or Rs 299 which can be redeemed from the subsequent recharge.
The Comio C1 Pro flaunts a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720x1440 pixel and offers various display features such as Split Screen, Pop Touch, and Simplified UI/ 2X Faster UI. The smartphone runs on top of the line Android 8.1 Oreo- out- of the- box.
In terms of hardware, it has a quad-core MediaTek 6739 SoC paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using a memory SD card. The smartphone comes with three slots: 2 for sim cards and one for the memory card.
In terms of photography, the Comio C1 Pro has an 8-megapixel camera on the rear panel offering autofocus, Panorama mode, and Gestures-setup-in-camera mode. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone gets 5-megapixel selfie camera. It is worth noting that the smartphone has facial recognition feature which allows users to unlock the smartphone by viewing their face on it. Lastly, the smartphone packs a 2500mAh battery.
