The OnePlus has been trapped earlier with a bug, which the company needs to resolve. The bug detected needs an updation to the operating system for the new OS to be updated. The OnePlus One has recently got up the update that is now rolling out to upgrade the smartphone with Cyanogen OS 12.1 YOG4PAS2QL operating interface.
The update is said to be a minor one dealing with several bug fixes and security updates. As also mentioned in forums, the update can be installed manually with requisite files made available. It is available in OTA zip file that weighs 18MB. Installation of the full ROM, a 600MB+ full update and fast boot zip files are also available for various users. It is further expected that Cyanogen OS 12.1 YOG4PAS2QL deals with newer Stagefright vulnerability fixes for the OnePlus One.
The smartphone was launched earlier in August with Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It has promised in May to provide the update of Truecaller and Truedialer integration, so does the company has added on the feature in the update keeping itself up to the words.
With so much concern for the devices, the company has uttered not to provide all of its launches with the update. It is figured to provide to all CM-based devices. Last month the CyanogenMod community released CyanogenMod 12.1 stable builds based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, alongside security releases for CM11.0 and CM12.0 including fixes for the Stagefright vulnerability and other recent security disclosures. The updates like this will be individually fetched out by the devices. Further commenced by the technocrat that, the devices marked as 'Good to go' by the maintainer would get the updates.
With the firm proposal to fix the bugs, the OnePlus 2 has earlier got the update of OTA Oxygen OS 2.0.1 in August. Improving the battery life and the user interface logic and coherence, the update also reeled several bug fixes and improvements, as well as another fix for the widely talked-about Stagefright vulnerability.
