To celebrate India’s 69th Republic Day, both E-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon have announced the Republic Day Sale.The sale dates have been announced by Flipkart just a day after the announcement of its competitor Amazon. Both, Flipkart and Amazon Republic Day Sale Dates will clash- Flipkart Republic Day Sale will commence from 21st January and continue till 23rd January whereas Amazon sale will commence from the same date and continue till 24th January. Discounts and offers will be applicable across various product categories such as smartphones, TVs, laptops and other electronic items and also on home decor and fashion category.
During the Republic Day Sale, E-Commerce giant Flipkart will be offering the discount on several smartphones. Pixel 2 XL will be available at a price of Rs. 48,999 (including Rs 10,000 off on purchase via HDFC Bank credit card transactions) whereas Samsung Galaxy S7 will be priced at Rs. 26,990. Apart from this, an additional exchange discount of Rs 3000 will be available on Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 (original price Rs 29,999).
Huawei sub-brand, Honor 9 Lite has been teased from the last few weeks which will launch the flagship smartphone as a part of the Republic Day Sale. Indian E-Commerce Platform Flipkart says “stay tuned for more” discounts on premium smartphones - it is expected that we add some more premium smartphones to the list in upcoming days.
Both, 64GB and 16GB variant of Samsung Galaxy On Nxt will be listed at Rs 10,999 (original price is Rs. 17,900) and Rs. 9,999 (original price is Rs 10,999) respectively. Ranges of smartphones such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K8 Plus, Moto G5 Plus and Smartron t.phone P will be selling at Rs. 10,999, Rs. 8,999, Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 7,999, respectively. During the Republic Day Sale, Flipkart will be offering Infinix Note 4 at a discounted price of Rs. 7,999 down from Rs 8,999 whereas Panasonic Eluga A3 will be available at a price of 6,499 (original price is MRP Rs. 11,499). Apart from these, Flipkart will be offering recently launched iVoomi i1 and iVoomi i1s at a discounted price during the sale.

Discount offers on Televisions, Laptops and other electronic items have not been revealed by the e-commerce platform so far. People who have Citibank credit and debit card will get an additional 10 percent off during the sale. Minimum purchase amount and maximum cashback offer have not been disclosed by Flipkart so far.
Limited-time offers will be provided by Flipkart which it is to be known as Grab or Gone Deals as a part of Republic Day Sale. There also great deals offering under Rs 690 and minimum 69 percent discount will be offered on selected products to celebrate India’s 69th Republic Day.
