As expected, Samsung South Korean giant has launched foursome affordable smartphones in India dubbed as Galaxy A6, Galaxy A6+, Galaxy J4, and Galaxy J6. The specifications of these smartphones leaked ahead of the launch event. The press invite which was shared by the company via twitter stated that all of the smartphones will come with the Infinity Display Design which we have earlier seen on Galaxy S8 series, though Infinity Display Design is not available in budget segment smartphones till now. As per the previous leaks, the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ could be available in the price bracket of Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000, whereas the Galaxy J4and Galaxy J6 are likely to be available in between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000.
The company’s main aim for launching new smartphones in the Indian market is to offer affordable smartphones to the customers, capture more share in the country and to compete with Xiaomi.
Earlier this month, Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ listed on the Samsung Indonesia website ahead of launch along with key specifications. Galaxy A6 flaunts a 5.6-inch HD+display with the screen resolution of 720x1480 pixels, whereas Galaxy A6+ gets a larger 6.0-inch full-HD+ display with the screen resolution of 1080x2220 pixels. As reported by Samsung, bothGalaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ will come with Infinity Display Design along with 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
The Galaxy A6 is powered by company-owned Exynos 7870 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz, whereas Galaxy A6+ gets a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. Both of the smartphones are available in two storage options: 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB Inbuilt storage options, with an option to expand its storage capacity up to 256GB by using a memory card.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy A6 comes with a single 16MP rear camera with an aperture rate of f/1.7. On another hand, the Galaxy A6+ packs dual 16MP+ 5MP rear cameras with an aperture of /1.7 and f/1.9 respectively. For the selfie snapper, the Galaxy A6 sport a 16 MP selfie camera, whereas Galaxy A6 Plus bears a 24 MP selfie shooter. Both of the smartphones come with features such as Live Focus and an aperture of f/1.9. Bokeh mode effect which is exclusively available on the Samsung Galaxy A6+. The fingerprint scanner is positioned on the rear panel of the smartphone on Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+. A6 gets a 3000mAh battery, whereas A6 Plus packs a larger 3500mAh battery.

As expected, the Samsung Galaxy J6 flaunts a 5.6-inch HD+ AMOLED Infinity Display with the screen resolution of 720x1480 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC. The smartphone is available in 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage options. The Galaxy J6 sport a single 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy J4 have been available at a price of Rs. 9,990 for 2GB RAM+ 16GB internal storage, whereas 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant is available at a price tag of Rs. 11,990.
