Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has un-wrapped Elife S5.5 today on February 20. This device is available in China only for pre-order. The device is considered as World's thinnest Smartphone device with 5.75MM thickness.
Elife S5.5 is equipped with Gorillas Glass Uni-Body and metallic frame. This device uses AMOLED screen with 0.4MM and 0.6MM glass rear cover. The smartphone is well fitted with 5 inch full HD AMOLED display having 720 pixel resolution which has no doubt on its display quality. It supports single GSM SIM.
It is shipped with Android Amigo OS. For maintaining its sleek framework, ElifeS5.5 is has a non removable battery packed in the device. It is powered by 2300mAh non removable battery and coated with octa-core 1.7GHz processor. It comes with connectivity features which include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS. It has 13MP rear camera with 95 degree ultra wide angle and 5MP front-facing camera. This smartphone has 2GB RAM and internal storage of 16GB, expandable upto 32GB. The device roughly priced at $370 (around 23,000 INR).
Gionee Mobile will introduce this smartphone in 40 countries. It will be available in White, Black, Pink, Blue and Purple color variation. It will be presented in Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress from February 24th to 28th.
