Gionee, the Chinese smartphone maker, has launched a special Virat Kohli Edition of the Gionee A1 in India with a price tag of Rs. 19,999. This latest special edition handset is now up for pre-orders from Amazon India and is scheduled to go on sale from 27th June at 12 PM IST. The company has announced that the buyers pre-booking the handset, will be given a Sennheiser headphone for free. Apart from this, there are various launch offers including up to Rs. 1,280 as Amazon Pay balance on the purchase; additional Rs. 2,000 off on product exchange, and up to 45GB free data for five months on Vodafone. The company has declared that this product ahs been launched in lieu to woo all the die-hard fans of 'Virat Kohli'.
On the specification front, the dual-SIM Gionee A1 Virat Kohli Edition smartphone operates Amigo 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. This Gionee handset has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and has been powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) SoC. Further, this latest Gionee mobile comes with a 13-megapixel camera with a 1/3.06-inch Sony IMX258 sensor and dual-LED flash. Gionee has incorporated a 16-megapixel front-facing fixed focus camera, with a f/2.0 aperture, a 1/3.06-inch sensor, a 5P lens, and a selfie flash that the company says it has customized to "spread light onto faces more evenly and softly." The Gionee A1 smartphone also comes with a 'facial enhancement algorithm' that automatically detects a user's face and applies custom beauty settings. Other features being touted include the bokeh-selfie mode.

This latest Gionee mobile in India comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). The handset measures 154.5x76.5x8.5mm and weigh 182 grams. Apart from 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/ a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and Micro-USB are the major connectivity options included in the phone. The Gionee A1 sports a 4010mAh battery, and the company is also emphasizing its new 18W 'ultrafast charging' that can fully charge the battery in just 2 hours.
