Gionee is again coming in the foray of smartphones to prove its excellence. Company is working on a new invention to break its own record by offering a thinnest device ever. After presenting Elife S5.5, company has decided to bring a smartphone which will have the power of alluring customers with slender design. Gionee Elife S5.5 with 5.5mm thickness has been standing in market, wearing the medal of slimmest device till yet but the next Gionee’s smartphone would snatch its crown by giving 5mm thin design to upcoming mobile device.
A Chinese certification agency TENAA has filed a certification for its next device codenamed GN9005 which is expected to measure 139.8x67.4x5mm in size and will weigh around 94.6gram. Looking at the specification part, it will get lower rank. It will feature 4.8-inch display with 720x1280p screen resolution while S5.5 has full HD display.
The upcoming thinnest smartphone will come with 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM which would be inferior to Gionee S5.5’s 2GB RAM and octa-core processor. It is also said, it would get 8MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. It will get 2050mAh battery to boast the energy with long battery backup. It is also speculated that it will provide China Mobile network band (TD-SCDMA) and TD-LTE 4G support.
What value it’ll receive in market would decide when the codenamed GN9005 smartphone will come in market.
