Google, last week, had finally started to roll out the final Android 7.1.1 update to compatible Nexus devices and Pixel smartphones, the update also includes company’s monthly update for December. Google, in the new updates, has resolved the connectivity issues and other minor problems in the Pixel smartphones.
The Pixel smartphone users, last month reported some connectivity issues in the handsets, specifically on LTE Band 4 frequency. Along with the release of Android 7.1.1 update, many pixel users have reported that the problem is now resolved, but still it doesn’t seem to be out from the roots completely.
The company has still not announced the update officially, nor has spoken any work on account of the date when the update will arrive on Pixel and Pixel XL users via an OTA update. Google has published Factory and OTA images on its Android Developers site for the users, who want the fix get installed as soon as possible.
The new update does not have any other changes, but just LTE connectivity improvised. So, is your device is working fine and does not have any connectivity issues, we will recommend you to stay with you Android version as it is and just wait for an OTA update.
Google has also improvised the camera issues, which were facing by Nexus users. Ther company this time brings an updated camera application for camera improvements for the Nexus smartphones including Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. The new application is more faster, by which you can switch to camera and video mode more faster. Moreover, the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P users will also get a new Auto-HDR+ feature in their devices, which will allow them to take clear low light images.
