After teasing the rumors on the internet from the past few weeks, the Honor 10 is now finally unveiled at the launch event in London on 15th May. At the launch event, the company has made the announcement of the availability of the Honor 10 in the global market including India. Earlier this month, the smartphone was first launched in China. The Huawei sub-brand Honor will start selling the latest smartphone from 16th May exclusively on Flipkart.
The key highlighting features of the Honor 10 include a HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, 6GB of RAM, dual rear cameras, FullView Display along with 19:9 aspect ratio, a notch on the top of the display similar to iPhone X. The smartphone is available in attractive colors including Glacier Grey, Midnight Black, Phantom Blue, and Phantom Green, from which the latter two comes with a gradient color finish which looks similar to the Twilight version of the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro.

The Honor 10 has been priced at Rs. 32,999 and the smartphone will be available for purchase from midnight, Wednesday, 16th May in India, exclusively at Flipkart. The smartphone is available in two color options that are Midnight Black and Phantom Blue, particularly in India.
The company is offering the discount of Rs 5000 in exchange value on all Honor smartphones as well as Rs 3000 off on other selected subject to specific terms and conditions, valid only from 16th May to 18th May. The Honor is also providing no-cost EMI options on Bajaj Finserv cards which is valid only for 16th May. There is also a 10 percent instant discount available on Axis Bank and debit cards, which is also applicable on EMI transactions. The Honor 10 smartphone is bundled with Jio Offer which comprises Rs 1,200 cashback, 100 GB additional data, and Rs. 3,300 worth of partner vouchers.
The Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch FullView full-HD+ IPS LCD display, 19:9 aspect ratio, 86.2 percent screen-to-body ratio and 1080x2280 pixels screen resolution. The smartphone comes with a notch on the top of the display that hides the front-facing camera and microphone.
The smartphone runs on top Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System based on EMUI 8.1. It is powered by AI-powered Kirin 970 processor which is clocked at 2.4GHz coupled with Mali GPU and company’s own Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The smartphone is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which is not- expandable.
In terms of photography, the Honor 10 features a dual rear camera which includes a 24-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel secondary camera. The rear camera setup comes with an aperture of f/1.8, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) for fast focusing and AI photography which helps to recognize scenes and objects in real-time. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone has a 24-megapixel selfie shooter with 1.8-micron pixels and a 3D Portrait Lighting mode.

In terms of connectivity, the Honor 10 is equipped with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz, and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor. It features an ultrasonic under glass fingerprint sensor which is positioned on the home button. In terms of dimensions, it measures 149.6x71.2x7.7m and the weight of the smartphone is 153 grams. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 3400mAh battery.
