The much- anticipated Honor 10 Lite, which was launched in India on January 15, 2019, at an event in New Delhi, has now received a new 3GB RAM/32 GB storage variant. It is priced at INR 11,999 and will be available to purchase on Flipkart along with its other variants.
Among major highlights, the Honor 10 Lite include 24MP selfie snapper, HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC and Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. It comes with a trending "dewdrop" display notch that houses front-facing camera.
In India, the Honor 10 Lite now comes with a starting price of INR 11,999 for 3GB RAM and goes up to INR 13,999 and INR 17,999 for the respective 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. For the lately launched 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant, the company offers the only colour options of Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black colour options via Flipkart. While the earlier launched top-spec variants are available in options like Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, Lily Valley White, and Magic Night Black colour variant.
The Honor 10 Lite is considered the successor of the Honor 9 Lite that was launched in the Indian market in January 2018. Nearly 1.5 million units of the Honor 9 Lite had been sold by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, as per the earlier reports. Furthermore, it was considered the most popular smartphones for the year 2018 on Flipkart.
The Honor 10 Lite features a metallic frame along with a curved glass panel that has a bigger 6.21-inch Full HD + display. On the top of the bezels, the smartphone has water drop-shaped notch for the selfie camera. To perform the hardware activities, the smartphone has HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset which clocked at 2.2GHz.
The Honor 10 Lite has been embedded with features such as AI Shopping and Calorie Detection that can be performed via camera sensors to render better experience to the users. Additionally, the device comes with AI Enhanced calls feature which provides better voice during the voice calls.

In the Indian market, it is now available in three storage configuration 3GB+32GB inbuilt, 4GB RAM+64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB of RAM+64GB inbuilt storage. The smartphone supports microSD card which allows users to extend data up to 512GB. As a part of the software, the Honor 10 Lite runs on the latest Operating System i.e., Android 9.0 Pie layered with EMUI 9.0 on top.
As far as camera specifications are concerned, the Honor 10 Lite comes with a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 13MP primary sensor featuring an aperture lens of f/1.8 and a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies and video calling, the Honor 10 Lite has a 24MP selfie snapper with an aperture of f/2.0.
The camera app is preloaded with AI-powered capabilities such as facial recognition and light fusion features to deliver better photography experience. Furthermore, AI scene recognition feature is available on the Honor 10 Lite which is touted to detect eight different scenes such as sky, beach, plant, flower, stage, night, room, and snow.
The Honor 10 Lite gets rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which helps to unlock the device. The smartphone gets a dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), GPS + GLONASS, micro USB support, a 3.5 mm audio jack as the connectivity options. Under the hood, the Honor 10 Lite it is powered by a 3,400mAh battery. The dimensions of the smartphone are 154.8x73.64x7.95mm.
