Huawei sub-brand Honor is all set to unveil the Honor 10 globally at the launch event which is to be scheduled on 15th May in London. A web page has been created by the Flipkart which confirms that the Honor 10 will officially unveil in India on 15th May 2018 and it will be available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart. It is worth noting this is the similar date when the global launch of Honor 10 will take place in London.
The Honor 10 has been in the trend as rumors are rendering on the internet from last few months. Now, it is confirmed that the Chinese company would unveil the Honor 10 in India on 15th May. Earlier this month, the Honor 10 was initially unveiled in China and to the some extent, it shares a similar design and specifications to the Huawei P20.

The Chinese company had launched the Honor 10 in two storage variants: 6GB of RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB of RAM +128GB internal storage especifically in the China market. The smartphone is available at CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 27,200) for 6GB RAM/64GB inbuilt storage variant, whereas 6GB of RAM +128GB internal storage is priced at 2,999 (approx Rs 31,400) particularly in the China market. As of now, we don’t know the pricing details of the upcoming smartphone in India, but it is anticipated that the Honor 10 will be available around Rs 35,000 which means it will cost higher than the previously launched Honor View 10. The Chinese company had launched the Honor View 10 in India at a price tag of Rs 29,999. At the price point, it seems that the Honor 10 is likely to compete against the likes of OnePlus 6 which will launch on 17th May price starting from Rs 36,999 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 39,999 for the high- storage variant.
Interested users who want to purchase the Honor 10 can login into the Flipkart India account by clicking on “Notify Me” button and mention the activate e-mail id and mobile number. Once the phone will launch in India, the user automatically gets all the information regarding the Honor 10 price, availability and launch offer via email.
The Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch LCD FHD+ display with the screen resolution of 1080x 2280 pixels and a notch on the top of the display resembles Apple iPhone X. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and likely to come in 64GB/128GB internal storage, it depends on the region. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 on top. It packs a 3400mAh battery with the support of quick charging. It ships with the charger which allows the users to charge the 50 percent smartphone only in 25 minutes, claims company.

In terms of optics, the Honor 10 comes with dual rear cameras that comprise the combination of 16-megapixel + 24-megapixel camera sensors, offering dual LED flash and an aperture of f/1.8 aperture. The smartphone features an “AI Camera" on the rear panel. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone gets a 24-megapixel sensor for capturing selfies and video calling.
The connectivity options on Honor 10 are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The weight of the smartphone is 153 grams and it measures 149.6x71.2x7.7mm.
