The 64GB Storage variant of the popular Honor 7X smartphone is now ready to be sold by offline retailers in India. Huawei sub-brand recently announced that the Honor 7X, which is already selling online on Amazon, could now also be purchased offline through retailers in India. As of now, only the 64GB storage variant, with 4GB RAM, will be made available in the offline market with the same price tag of Rs. 15,999 as online.

The step has been taken keeping in mind that many Indian buyers still prefer to purchase offline where they can physically check the product before buying it. "We are excited to announce that consumers will now be able to get their hands on our superstar smartphone across and have the pleasure of owning one of the best dual camera budget smartphones. Honor 7X will be available at Honor authorized stores and resellers across India starting 9th February," said P Sanjeev, Huawei Consumer Business Group’s Sales Vice-President.

The phone will be available in two colour variants, Blue and Black, and will go on sale from Friday, February 9. However, if you are looking to buy the 32GB storage variant, available at Rs. 12,999, you will have to go online.

In partnership with Flex in Chennai, Huawei is also set to start manufacturing the Honor 7X under the ‘Make in India’ tag in the country.

As for specifications, the Honor 7X is available with 4GB RAM and in two memory variants, 32GB and 64GB. Both variants are being sold online exclusively on Amazon.in. The phone runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1 mobile OS. It comes with a 5.93-inch full-HD+ screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and is able to provide a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels. The phone has a HiSilicon Kirin 659 octa-core SoC processor and single RAM option.

The Honor 7X has received mixed reviews from its existing users. While the performance, design and display are adequate enough, the device doesn’t do well in terms of camera, software and battery life. The phone comes with a dual back camera set up that includes a 16 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor for depth. There is also an 8 MP front camera for video calling and selfies. The Honor 7X runs on a 3340mAh battery and has all the common connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1.

In addition to making the Honor 7X 64GB variant available in the offline market in India, the company is also planning to start new service centres to improve user service and after sales experience.
