Company has given it the price tag of Rs. 19,990 which makes this handset pricier than the last year’s model. The last year’s Desire 816G had been launched with Rs. 18,990. Company has loaded this refreshed version with 1.7GHz octa-core processor on the place of 1.3GHz quad-core processor. However, it’s unclear that what chipset have been used for the HTC Desire 816G (2015). When we talk about the specification, then tech giant has not made big changes. Both variants share the same features. The Android version is kept as a trade secret by company for the new version though.
The early model runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat version while there is no information what version will the new model support.
