Going with the Twitter information of the mobile manufacturer, it is about to launch HTC U12 Life on August 30. The brand has tweeted on Thursday a teaser image mentioning “Something new for U – 30.08.18” with text of “Beauty and power meet on August 30th 2018.”
The rumours about HTC U12 Life are in air since the last month. The leak suggest that it will be a mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon 636. The information also suggests that the smartphone will not be manufactured by the company as it will be an ODM gadget.
Around last month end, a design of the smartphone leaked online in a sketched render. HTC U12 Life is expected to receive the Google Pixel similar a two part design which is available in the first generation of pixel gadgets.
As per the sketch design available on a website, it suggests the U12 Life to appear in an 18:9 or 19:9 aspect ratio arrangement, two back cameras, higher dimension, a fingerprint sensor placed at the rear side and thick edges. It is expected to use two different sort of material while constructing the smartphone which can be possibly metal and glass.
According to the rumors and leaks, the HTC U12 Life will be available with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a 6-inch 18:9 display screen. When we go from exterior to interior, it may come pack up with 4GB of RAM and an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC as available with the Nokia 6.1 Plus, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, and Redmi Note 5 Pro.
It comes loaded with the 64GB of RAM option along with an option of further expansion with microSD card slot.
Concerning cameras, the HTC U12 Life is expected to come with a dual camera setup option including 5-megapixel and 16-megapixel lens combination. The front camera can be coupled with a 13-megapixel sensor and a flash. Apart from this, the expected features list includes IP67 rating for dust and waterproofing and pack of a 3600mAh battery.
