After being listed online for some time, the Huawei P Smart (2019) smartphone has finally been launched and has hit the market. The Smartphone is equipped with numerous facilities and smart features.
The Huawei P Smart phone has a dewdrop-shaped notch, a dual camera setup aligned vertically, a rear fingerprint scanner and is supported by a 3,400mAh battery. The phone runs on the Android 9 Pie based EMUI 9 OS.
The official pricing of the Huawei P Smart (2019) has not been revealed by Huawei, but the smartphone has been listed on Boulanger and is priced at EUR 249 which is roughly Rs, 20,300. Huawei announced that the set would be made available from January 10 onwards in the UK.
The Smartphone would be available in Midnight Black, Aurora Blue, and Sapphire Blue colour options. Sales would be commenced via retail outlets like Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone, A1, Amazon, AO.com, Argos, Clove, Fonehouse, JLP, Jersey Telecom, SDG, Sky Mobile, Tesco Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
As the design is concerned, the Huawei P Smart (2019) sports a dewdrop-shaped notch up front with a slight chin at the bottom and a dual rear camera setup aligned vertically.
A fingerprint sensor is situated at the back. The speaker grille, a 3.5mm audio jack and a Micro-USB port have been placed on the bottom edge. The volume and power buttons are placed on the left edge of the smartphone.
Regarding the specifications, the Huawei P Smart (2019) runs on EMUI 9.0 based on the Android 9 Pie. It is a dual-SIM (Nano + Nano/ microSD) device and sports a 6.21-inch FHD+ (1080x2340 pixels). It has a Full View TFT LCD dewdrop display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The pixel density is 415 ppi, and an 85 percent of NTSC colour gamut. Powered by the 12nm process-based 2.2GHz HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core SoC which is paired with 3GB RAM. The Inbuilt storage is 64GB, and the Boulanger site clarifies that there is an option to expand further using a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 512GB).

The Huawei P Smart (2019) offers dual rear camera setup including a 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with autofocus capability. Huawei AI image stabilisation and flash support are also there. The phone also has an 8-megapixel front sensor with f/2.0 aperture with fixed focus support and AI and AR capabilities.
The Smartphone packs a 3,400mAh battery that which is capable to support up to 10 hours of internet browsing on 4G networks, amazing 18 hours of continuous video playback, and up to 96 hours of continuous music playback, which is quite amazing.
The Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB OTG, FM Radio, GPS, and more. The device has dimensions 155.20x73.40x7.95mm and weighs 160 grams. The quality Sensors on board include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and gravity sensor.
