A few days ago, Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company had conducted an event in Paris where the company unveiled the trio of smartphones with the name tag- Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and Porsche Design Mate RS. Now the company has posted an official teaser on its Indian website with the tagline “Coming Soon in India" but the teaser did not reveal any specific timeline to launch the Huawei flagship smartphones in India. The three letters in the word soon indicating to Huawei P20 Pro that features three cameras on the rear panel of the smartphone. So far it is not clarified that whether the company will launch both of the smartphone or any one of them in India.
So far the company has not confirmed the pricing details of Huawei P20 and P20 Pro in India. However, the P20 and P20 Pro launched in the European market at EUR 649 (approximately Rs. 52,200) and EUR 899 (roughly Rs. 72,300) respectively. Both, Huawei P20 and P20 Pro is available in five color options: Ceramic Black, Pink Gold, Midnight Blue, Twilight, and Graphite Black.
Huawei P20 bears a 5.8-inch full HD+ resolution display along with screen resolution of 2240×1080 pixels. The smartphone comes with the bezel-less display and has an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It is embedded with a company’s owned Kirin 970 octa-core SoC along with AI-based neural processing unit (NPU). The smartphone is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage that can be further extended by using a memory card.

In terms of software, P20 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 skin on top. The smartphone supports Google ARCore and also has a Face Unlock Feature.
In terms of optics, the P20 has a dual rear camera setup which comprises the combination of a 20MP primary camera and a 12MP secondary camera. The P20 supports six-axis stabilization and also have a 960fps super-slow-motion video recording mode which is similar to Samsung Galaxy S9 duo. For the selfie camera, the smartphone gest a 24.8-megapixel sensor along with AI features.
Huawei P20 is powered by a 3,400mAh battery along with fast charging and wireless charging support. Connectivity options on the smartphone are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port.
The Huawei P20 Pro bears a larger 6.1-inch full HD+ OLED display with the screen resolution of 2240×1080 pixels. The smartphone comes with bezel-less display along with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a company owned Kirin 970 octa-core SoC along with AI-based neural processing unit (NPU) which offers several functions such as object recognition, and automatic screen recognition while capturing photos. The smartphone has a 6GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. The smartphone has a notch on the top of the display looks similar to Apple iPhone X.
Huawei P20 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring LEICA optics. It comprises a combination of the 40MP RGB sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, a 20MP monochrome sensor with an aperture of f/1.6and an 8MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with the telephoto lens.
Under the hood, it is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery along with wireless charging and fast charging support. P20 certified with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. The connectivity options on the smartphone are Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, dual SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE and 3.5mm jack is missing on the smartphone.
