Huawei P8 Passes Through TENAA, Comprises Top-tier Specs in Metal Shell

However, the Chinese mobile maker: Huawei was away from MWC 2015, but it doesn't mean that tech giant is sluggish during this session. Well, we are acquainted with company's yet-to-be announced creation: P8, which has appeared in a plenty of rumors and tidings. And this time, upcoming device has come in headlines by emerging on the official website of China-based Certification Agency: TENAA. Apparently, being approved by TENAA, handset has given the relevancy to a prior report that was suggesting about the official debut of smartphone on April 15.

Taking a closer look at shared images, this high-end gadget features a metal body with golden metal frame that makes the mobile phone premium-looking and stylish. As per GizmoChina, "there may be some areas such as strip around the camera and front, which have been crafted by plastic and protected by glass."

Following a different naming convention: Huawei P8 will incorporate power and volume buttons, microSD slot and SIM card slots on the left side of its body. This legitimate successor of hot-selling: Ascend P7 is expected to be paired with dual SIM card slots and it will be compatible with 4G networks. Touching the imaging front, it has been said to be outfitted with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash.

Glancing at previous reports, gadget will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and it will be packed with a multitasking HiSilicon 64 bit Kirin 930 octa-core processor. The handheld will bear a 5.2-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass protection that will produce a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920p and pixel density of 424ppi.

Memory-wise, multiple sources are suggesting about the incorporation of 3GB RAM alongside 32GB of extendable built-in memory in 6.6 mm thick body. Though, corporation is still tight-lipped regarding pricing, specifications and availability of its next-iteration, but GizmoChina has asserted that device might be priced at CNY2,999 (Roughly $480).
