Huawei Sets to Sell its Honor Smartphones through Snapdeal

Huawei, being the bigger smartphone manufacturing company in the China. The company is getting into the development line, offering an upgraded experience to its users.  This new experience will be available through the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update that the company will release in early 2016.

For expanding the reach of its handsets to the users, the Chinese Telecom company Huawei will start selling its Honor smartphones through the e-commerce website Snapdeal. The Honor smartphones were earlier available only on Flipkart.

P Sanjeev, Huawei India Consumer Business Group VP (Sales) told, “Our e-brand, Honor, has received an overwhelming response from Indian customers and we are now expanding our reach with Snapdeal.com. We are confident that this partnership will help us reach out to a larger group of Honor smartphone fans.”

For increasing its sales of Honor smartphones, Huawei has started attracting the customers by announcing the upgradation with Android Marshmallow to its affordable smartphones including Honor 4C and Honor 4X as well as the mid-ranger Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 7.

The company started selling the smartphones in India through Flipkart about a year ago. Now, the company has set its target to sell 15-20 lakh unit of Honor smartphones by the end of this year.

Sanjeev also added, “We now have 1 million customers of Honor, and there is a quarter to go in this year. The discounts are inaugural offering. We will continue to sell our flagship smartphones Honor 7 and Honor 6 Plus exclusively through Flipkart.”

The company will sell its smartphones with an additional discount on Snapdeal which includes Honor 4X for Rs. 8,999, Honor 4X (gold) for Rs. 9,499, Honor 4C Rs. 7,999, Honor Bee at Rs. 3,999 based on 10 percent discount on purchases made through HDFC debit and credit cards.
