Huawei launched it First Android Go-based smartphone in May last year, The Huawei Y3 (2018). And now, the Brand is going to unveil its second GO product in the Row. This is ‘Huawei Y5 Lite’ and is a combo of entry-level specs, stock Android OS, and an affordable price tag.
The second Huawei’s Android Go smartphone has already been launched in Pakistan and comes with a price tag of PKR 16,500 which is approximately Rs 8,200. The set is coming with two colour options black and blue.
Just like the case with the smartphones that have been a part of Google’s Android Go initiative, the new Huawei Y5 Lite also runs stock Android OS.The new Huawei Y5 Lite smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition).The Android Go devices comes preloaded with lite version of Google apps like Gmail Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go and many more. These smartphones are self-optimized to run ‘Lite’ versions of some other popular apps like Uber, Facebook, and more.

So far as specifications are concerned, the Huawei Y5 Lite has a 5.45-inch LCD IPS display with HD+ (1440×720 pixels) resolution. There is a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core SoC paired with 1GB of RAM Under the hood. For the memory of this device; the device comes with 16GB storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Regarding optics and camera, the device is equipped with an 8-megapixel f/2.0 single lens camera at the back with a LED flash. In the front, there is a 5-megapixel f/2.2 fixed focus snapper joined by a selfie toning flash.
The set is powered by a 3,020mAh battery. For the connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, micro-USB 2.0, GPS, GLONASS, and A-GPS.
