Intex, the popular home grown smartphone manufacturing company has launched two new smartphones, dubbed as Cloud 3G Candy and Cloud 3G Gem. The handsets have been listed on the company's website at an price tag of Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 3,599 respectively. Both the smartphones are expected to hit the market shelves soon.
Both of the smartphones comes with a lot of identical specification. They are featuring a 4-inch displays with a resolution of 480*800 pixels. They are powered by a 1GHz single core Spreadtrum processors. The Intex Cloud 3G Candy packs a SC7715 SoC coupled with 256MB of RAM while the 3G Gem however packs a SC7731G SoC with 512MB of RAM.
On the camera front, both the smartphones by Intex are loaded with a 2 megapixel camera at the rear end and a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera on the board. The rear camera is accomplished by an LED flash light. On the storage side, the devices packs with 512MB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.
The Intex 3G Candy and 3G Gem both packs with 1400mAh removable batteries which is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 6 hours and a standby time of up to 350 hours. The Cloud 3G Candy measuring 122.5x63.3x10.1mm and the Cloud 3G Gem measuring with 125.2x63.3x10mm.
For the connectivity, both the smartphone includes Bluetooth, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, and GPRS/ EDGE. The handsets supports 3G on one SIM and 2G on other. Both the smartphones will be available in Black, Champagne and Silver color variants.
