iPhone 8 Plus Battery Problem Reported By Chinese Media

A new case of Apple's iPhone 8 Plus for swollen battery has been reported by the Chinese Media, the world's biggest mobile, and smartphone market, where Apple is looking to rejuvenate its iPhone business. It must be noted that similar iPhone cases have been reported from the Japan and Taiwan as well. Similar to China, Taiwan, and Japan report suggests that the latest iPhone 8 Plus batteries are becoming bloated, causing the device's casing to open.

On Thursday, China's state-owned ThePaper.cn referred to an iPhone buyer named Liu as saying his recently bought iPhone 8 Plus arrived cracked on Oct. 5. However, until now, there is no report for the burning or blast of this latest Apple handset. The images of the iPhone 8 Plus taken by Liu is available on the ThePaper's site, showing split open at the edge including the sim card holding. Liu told ThePaper he bought the handset through an online marketplace of JD.com Inc. He said he did not charge the new device and returned it to the seller.

An Apple representative said the organization is investigating the issue and declined to remark further. The incident and the reports coming from all the corner of the world is tarnishing the Apple iPhone's image and due to which shares of the company since the handset's launch is gradually going down.

A few financial investors of the company have also shown concerned about the fewer pre-orders of the iPhone 8. however, the market analysts are of opinion that the majority of the iPhone fans are waiting for the iPhone X, which is due to hit the market in early November.
