Itel Mobile, Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings, has launched three new smartphones in the Indian market namely Itel A45, Itel A22, and Itel A22 Pro. The newly launched Itel smartphones have a starting price of Rs 5,499 and come with commonly found 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Itel A22 Pro runs on standard Android 8.1 Oreo, whereas the Itel A22 and Itel A45 run on Android Go Edition which is specifically designed for entry-level smartphones.
The Itel A45 comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,999, and it is available in three colour options including Midnight Black, Anthracite Grey, and Rose Gold.
The Itel A22 is launched at Rs. 5,499 which is available in three colour variants: Space Grey, Champagne Gold, and Midnight Black colour.
Lastly, the Itel A22 Pro has been priced at Rs 6,499. Buyers can choose from Bordeaux Red, Champagne Gold, and Matte Black colour options. One must note that all of three Itel smartphones are available for purchase in the country.
The newly launched Itel models are bundled with Reliance Jio cashback offer amounting of Rs 2,200 on the purchase of A45, A22 and A22 Pro. The users will get the cashback amount on MyJio app in the form of 44 vouchers each amounting Rs 50 which can be redeemed for the subsequent recharge of Rs. 198 and Rs. 299.
The Itel A45 boasts a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS 'Full Screen' panel which offers the screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) which offers better performance, more storage and more impressive features.
The Itel A45 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739WA SoC integrated with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using a microSD card.
The Itel A45 comes with dual rear camera consisting of a 5-megapixel autofocus sensor and a VGA sensor. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone gets a 5-megapixel front-facing camera offering fixed-focus lens and a soft LED flash.
The Itel A45 supports dual- sim (nano), microSD card, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with USB OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes with a rear- mounted fingerprint scanner and also has a smart key specifically developed for bike mode. Under the hood, it is armed with a 2,700mAh lithium-polymer battery.
The Itel A22 features a 5-inch FWVGA+ display with the screen resolution of 480x960 pixels. Same as Itel A45, the A22 also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition). It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC.
It is equipped with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with an option to extend further up to 32GB with the help of a memory card.
In terms of lens, the Itel A22 packs a 5-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Both front and rear camera set up have an LED flash which offers better photography even during low-light conditions.
The connectivity options in the Itel A22 include dual-sim (nano), 4G VoLTE, microSD card, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is fueled by a 2,400mAh battery.
The Itel A22 Pro has a 5-inch FWVGA+ IPS display along with 480x960 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on advanced Android 8.1 Oreo-out-of-the box.
In terms of hardware, the company has added quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, integrated with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. The users can extend the storage capacity up to 32GB by availing microSD card.
In terms of camera, the Itel A22 Pro gets a 5-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel selfie snapper. Both cameras have an LED flash which helps to capture better photos during low-light conditions.
In terms of connectivity, the Itel A22 Pro include dual- sim (nano), 4G VoLTE, micro SD card, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The battery back up of affordable Itel A22 is 2,400mAh.
