Karbonn Mobiles the Indian based smartphone maker has added another smartphone dubbed as Karbonn Fashion Eye in its line of products. The smartphone will be made available for purchase on e-commerce portal Amazon India at a price tag of Rs 5,490, but still, there are no confirmed reports from the company's end and neither the smartphone has been listed on the official website yet.
The smartphone has a newly integrated app called FashionEye which has a separate working apart from regular features, but there are no clear instructions on how the app works and what is the purpose of it.
In terms of specifications, the Android smartphone operates on Android Lollipop v5.1 OS and under the hood is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. It has a 5-inch HD IPS Screen of 294ppi pixel density with a 2.5D Curved protection. It comes equipped with 8GB of inbuilt memory which can be further extended up to 32GB using external microSD card.
The smartphone has a one-year manufacturer warranty along with the warranty of six months of in-box accessories including batteries.
The GSM-handset equips an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera featuring LED flash and support of 1080p video recording at 30fps including Face detection, Panorama mode, Geo-tagging and smile detection. The rear camera comes coupled with a 3.2-megapixel camera.
Karbonn Fashion Eye has a 2000mah Battery with seven hours of talk time guarantee along with 200 hours of standby time. Some of the connecting features included on the device are 3G HSPA+/ 2G, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi dual-band, FM radio and Micro-USB port excluding 4G connectivity. The handset has 141 grams of weight in the dimension of 145×72×8mm.
