The smartphone rain is getting big day by day. In the pool of budget smartphones, Lava has also brought its low-cost device, named Iris X1 Atom S. The handset has been priced at Rs. 4,149 and comes in White and Black color options.
Lava Iris X1 Atom S features a 4-inch display which is built to offer 800 × 480 pixels screen resolution. The processor performs flawlessly with average speed which is clocked at 1GHz. However, company has paired the device with Android 4.4 KitKat OS which is perfect to offer good UI experience.
For photography enthusiasts, company has crafted a 5MP camera on rear panel with LED flash. A VGA camera is also there for selfie lovers. This dual SM smartphone comes with 3G connectivity along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS support. Its 1400mAh battery acts like a powerhouse for this handset as it is enough for a phone with low-end specs.
On storage side, an 8GB built-in memory can be extended upto 32GB using microSD card. 512MB RAM is also there to make user experience seamless while multiple applications run simultaneously. It measures 125.5 X 63.4 X 9.65 mm. Well, this looks almost identical in design with its predecessor Iris X1 Atom which is much better than this newly launched device in performance.
Eventually, this handset has been introduced for low-level users which want to use a smartphone with all needed features, but failed to get the one because of high price tags.
