Lava Z62 Launched with Full View Display, 3380mAh Battery, and TV Exchange Offers

Lava has recently announced its budget smartphone called Lava Z62 for the Indian market. Lava International as a part of its introductory offer- “Throw your TV” is also allowing the customers to win a free Lava Z62 in exchange for their old TV.

Coming back of the new phone, Lava Z62 comes with a 6-inch Full View Display and a dedicated Google Assistant. Besides this, the phone packs a 3,380 mAh battery and also houses an 8 MP rear shooter. This new phone is the successor to Lava Z61 that was launched in July last year.

Price of Lava Z62 in India

The pricing for new Lava Z62 phone starts at INR 6,060 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant. Alongside price, Lava has also announced that as a part of “Throw you TV” program, the users will get a chance to win this phone for free by exchanging their old TV sets.

To get this phone at a zero cost, the users will have to register under the aforementioned program on the Lava online portal. The registrations will start from July 18 at 10 am. The users must note that it is “first come, first serve basis” offer and will continue until stocks last.

Key Specifications

Lava Z62 sports a dual-SIM slot, and runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box with Full View Display & dedicated Google Assistant features. At the heart of the phone, it is powered by quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM option only.

If we talk about the camera, then Lava Z62 sport an 8 MP shooter at the back alongside LED flash as well as a 5 MP selfie camera at the front. Camera features like Photo Studio, Professional Mode, and Face Unlock are also present on this new phone.

As fast as storage goes, users get 16GB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card support. Lastly, the phone comes with 3,380 mAh battery, which would be enough to last the full day on a single charge.
