Lenovo's first octa-core based smartphone, Vibe X2 is all set to touch the Indian soil. This China based company has finally sent out the invitations for a launch event on the 6th of November. Notably, the media invites has been surfaced over the cyberspace along with a tag line “ Save the date- November 6, 2014”, but there is no word regarding its availability.
After making a breathtaking entry at IFA 2014, now the handset is ready to mesmerize the Indian consumers with its uniqueness and advancement. Here, the most captivating part of device is its multi-layered design, which is a beneficial incorporation in this gadget. The inclusion of additional layers of different colors makes it more functional as well as massively increases its battery capacity.
On the connectivity front, it comprises 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth options. This Android 4.4 KitKat based handheld is power packed with a powerful 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595m processor. At this place, the native tech space has recently received the cheapest octa-core phone: Intex Aqua Amaze that can give a rivalry to Lenovo's scion.
However, the successor of Vibe X, Vibe X2 has been introduced with a price tag of $399, which roughly translates to Rs 24,300, but we are yet to hear any official announcement about its monetary value for domestic marketplace. If the smartphone will be released at the same cost then Moto X and Sony Xperia T2 Ultra might be the tough opponents for this yet-to-be launched device.
