The Lenovo Z5s has been the matter of subject from last few weeks, as the dozen of leaks and speculations have surfaced on the internet in the previous week. As expected, the much- anticipated Lenovo Z5s has been launched in China market on December 18, 2018, at the Lenovo headquarters in Beijing. The key highlights of the device include triple lens rear camera set up, Snapdragon 710 SoC, 3,300mAh battery, ZUI 10 Operating System up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal space memory. The device has been equipped with Game Turbo technology which protects the device from overheating as well as rendered smooth performance, as it is specifically designed for the gamers.
Previously, it was rumored that the Lenovo Z5s will come with a ‘punch hole’ display but actually it does not happen.
In China,the Lenovo Z5s come with a starting price at CNY 1,398 (approximately Rs. 14,400) for 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model, while 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage costs CNY 1,598 (approximately Rs. 16,400). Lastly, the high- end 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model has been priced at CNY 1,898 (approximately Rs. 19,500). As expected, it has been launched in three color options including Honey Orange, Starry Black, and Titanium Crystal Blue.
It will be available for purchase from December 24 at official Lenovo China website as well as other online partnered websites. The pre-bookings of the device have already commenced in the country.
Now moving to the design, the Lenovo Z5s comes with a water drop- shaped display notch on the front side. As expected, triple lens rear camera setup is positioned vertically- out of them two are positioned on the same enclosure, whereas the third is positioned just beneath it. However, LED flash is available just below the rear camera set up. The smartphone comes with a physical- based fingerprint scanner which is located in the centre of the device.

The Lenovo Z5s comes with a 6.3-inch LTPS display that offers a 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, 450nits peak brightness 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and having a screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. As a part of the software, it runs on Android Oreo OS layered with ZUI 10 and comes with the support of dual- SIM which is based on Hybrid configuration.
Inside the Lenovo Z5s, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with Adreno 616 GPU Turbo Technology which renders better speed in terms of performance particularly for gamers.
The Lenovo Z5s has been launched in three storage variants: 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/ 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM. It supports microSD card for further expansion.
The Lenovo Z5s has triple sensors on the rear side which includes 16MP+8MP+ 5MP. For selfie and video calling, the smartphone gets a 16MP front-facing camera that has been preloaded with features like digital zoom, beauty filters, and more.
The Lenovo Z5s is armed with a 3,300mAh battery under the hood. The smartphone gets Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, GPS as connectivity options. The dimensions are 156.7x74.5x7.85mm and weight is 172 grams.
As of now, the Lenovo has not revealed when it would the Lenovo Z5s in other markets outside China.
