LG is expected to be launching its LG G8 ThinQ later this month with smart features like dual rear-camera setup and notch display. This is LG’s next flagship smartphone dubbed as LG G8 ThinQ. The smartphone is expected to be launched at MWC 2019 in Barcelona on February 24.
The speciality of this handset is it’s being the second major device after the Sony Xperia series to be coming with 4K display. The first official image of this smartphone is now available as is leaked in the form of renders.
Evan Blass, one of the prominent leakers on twitter, poked the official press renders of the upcoming LG G8 ThinQ. The first image which has come into existence shows the handset’s notch-based design and dual-rear camera setup, with subtly horizontally stacked. The image which has flown is such that it reveals all the sides of the device and confirms the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There is LED flash which has been placed next to the camera setup whereas the fingerprint sensor and ‘LG G8 ThinQ’ branding is set up just below that. In the optics area, there is also a single front camera made available to the user.
The smartphone has a metallic frame with glass back which looks similar to that of LG V40 ThinQ. Talking about the left and the right side of the smartphone, there is a dedicated Google Assistant and volume rocker button on the left of the set whereas power button with the SIM tray and antenna bands are situated on the right side of it.
Expectations are there that the LG G8 ThinQ smartphone would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. It is expected to be having an internal storage option of either 64GB or 128GB. The phone is expected to be supporting IP68 water and dust resistance. Collectively, the LG G8 ThinQ is expected to feature a ToF (3D Time of Flight) camera, a 3D facility for object tracking, face unlocking system and the very latest background blur and AR (Augmented Reality) features.
As per the leaks and rumours, LG G8 ThinQ would be priced at $1,199.99 CAD (Canadian Dollar) that is approximately Rs 64,400 for the 128GB storage variant.
