LG along with Sprint is all set to launch a 5G V50 ThinQ smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. Now, the company has also decided to launch an affordable smartphone at MWC 2019 which is going to be held in next week. The LG K40 with model number LM-X420 has been seen in Android Enterprise Recommended list of smartphones of Google. The K-series of LG is an affordable series which will have a decent price sticker along with entry-level specifications.
As per the list, the forthcoming affordable smartphone of LG brand will have a low-end chipset along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The chipset has not been disclosed but is built around the 28 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. The forthcoming smartphone will sport a 5.7-inch display and the screen resolution has not been revealed yet. But the LG K30 has a screen resolution of 720 pixels. The LG K40 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo OS while LG K30 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.

We can also say that the smartphone will get many software updates and will also provide the experience of close to stock Android as the listing is done on the Android Enterprise Recommended. The LG K40 will also be equipped with a fingerprint sensor contrary to low-end devices. This is the positive point of the smartphone as many manufacturers avoid NFC in the low-end smartphones and some even does not include biometric unlocking.
Including them shows that the users will be able to take advantage of the smartphone to pay for the low-end device. As per the specifications, we can say that the smartphone is a basic-level handset which could perform the very basic tasks easily. Apart from this, the company will launch 5G smartphone which is dubbed as LG V50 ThinQ in the first half of 2019. It has been disclosed that the smartphone will carry a triple camera at the back, two cameras at the front and a notch on the display.
