LG, the South- Korean smartphone manufacturer has officially launched the Q9, in its Q-series which is particularly designed for the youth generation. Currently, it has been launched particularly in the South- Korean market. Although, it is not entirely a new device as it is a modified version of the G7 Fit which was showcased at IFA 2018 in August in the previous year.
The highlighting features of the LG Q9 are 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone has been bundled with the company owned Quad DAC technology and Boombox speaker to offer good sound experience to the users. The Q9 supports FM radio that allows users to use audio technologies in the device. It is being certified with an IP68 rating that is based on MIL-STD 810G military standard.
In South Korea, the LG Q9 comes with a price tag of KRW 499,400 which roughly converts into Rs. 31,100. The smartphone will be available for purchase from July 11, 2019, in the domestic market. It will be made available in three color options including Carmine Red, Aurora Black, and Moroccan Blue.
LG has offered a Boombox speaker in the Q9 which is bundled with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and DTS:X Stereo technologies to render great sound experience to the users. It comes with Google Assistant and HDR10 feature. At the software front, the Q9 runs on Android Oreo (8.1) out of the box.

The LG Q9 has a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision display that offers the screen resolution of 3120x1440 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 564ppi of pixel density. Inside the Q9, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 2TB via microSD card.
Likewise, other millennial LG smartphones, the company has offered a single camera sensor on the rear side instead of dual sensors. On the rear panel, there is a single 16MP camera sensor that is accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, there is an 8MP front-facing camera. The LG Q9 supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. It is preloaded with NFC feature that allows users to make payments through POS (Point-of-Sale) machines. The smartphone has a traditional fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. Under the hood, the Q9 is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and its dimensions are 153.2x71.9x7.9mm.
As we already mentioned that the LG Q9 is a South- Korean or modified version of the LG G7 Fit that was showcased at IFA 2018 in August
