Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched a trio of smartphones dubbed as Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Plus and Meizu 15 Lite particularly in the China market. The leaked specs and rumors of all three smartphones have been appearing online from the last few weeks. A notch is missing on the smartphone The Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus come with dual rear cameras, whereas the Meizu 15 Lite has a single rear camera. So far, the company has not revealed information regarding the price and availability of these smartphones.
Both, Meizu 15 and Meizu Plus said to feature a Super AMOLED screens display manufactured by Samsung. However, the taller screen displays are trending these days in the smartphone industry and it is missing on these smartphones.
The Meizu 15 flaunts a 5.46-inch full AMOLED HD display along with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio display and the screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The notch, as well as the taller screen, is missing on Meizu 15. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with features such as octa-core CPU which is clocked at 2.2GHz and the Adreno 512 GPU. The smartphone is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage option depends on the storage capacity you will choose. The company has unveiled the Meizu 15 in four color options: White, Black, Blue, and Gold.
In terms of photography, the Meizu 15 comes with dual- rear cameras. The rear camera sport a 12-megapixel secondary camera with impressive features such as an aperture of f/1.8, Sony’s IMX380 sensor, PDAF, Laser Focus, 1.55um pixel size. Another rear camera brings a 20-megapixel sensors offers the telephoto lens, Sony’s IMX360 sensor. The rear camera feature an optical image stabilization (OIS). The weight of the smartphone is 152 grams and its dimensions are 143 × 72 × 7.25mm. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery which is bundled with the 24W charger on the purchase of the smartphone. A fingerprint scanner is positioned below the display on the front side which helps to unlock the smartphone in just 0.08 seconds, claims company. The fingerprint scanner also works as a back button. In terms of connectivity, the Meizu 15 Plus offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, a USB Type-C port.
The Meizu 15 Plus brings a 5.95-inch QHD AMOLED display inspired by Samsung. The smartphone comes with 16:9 aspect ratio along with the screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is embedded with Samsung’s Exynos 8895 octa-core SoC which clocked at 2.5GHz. The smartphone is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB inbuilt storage.
In terms of optics, the Meizu 15 Plus packs a 12-megapixel secondary camera and a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear panel along with EIS and OIS. The primary rear camera comes with an aperture of f/1.8, whereas the secondary rear camera features a telephoto lens. These smartphones come with best camera sensors till now, claims company. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone brings a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing selfies and video calling. The company says that camera is said to feature a multi-frame noise reduction and HDR algorithms, which we have earlier seen on the Huawei P20.

A touch button is positioned below the display on the front panel of the smartphone. It packs a larger 3,500mAh nonremovable battery which helps to charge the smartphone quickly with the help of USB-C port and bundled with 24 W charger (12V at 2A). The Meizu 15 Plus is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, a USB Type-C port. Its dimensions are 153.8 × 78.3 × 7.25mm and weigh around 178 grams. The smartphone is available in Black, Gray, and Gold color options.
Both, Meizu and 15 Plus will be available for purchase from 29th April, particularly in the China market. The Meizu 15 will cost around CNY 2,500 for the base variant (4GB of RAM+64GB internal storage) and CNY 2,800 for the variant with higher internal storage (4GB of RAM +128GB internal storage). The Meizu 15 Plus will be priced at CNY 3,000 for 6GB of RAM+64GB internal storage and costs around CNY 3,300 for 6GB RAM +128GB internal storage.
Meizu 15 Lite bears a 5.46-inch full HD LCD display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC, with an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone is equipped with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Under the hood, it is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery along with the support of fast charging capabilities and you get 18W mCharge on the purchase of Meizu 15 Lite.
All of the smartphones are equipped with company-owned new mEngine, a haptic feedback system which looks identical to Apple's Taptic Engine and also renders same quality. All of three smartphone runs on traditional 7.1.2 Nougat OS, which is disheartening at the moment and there is no information when the Operating System will be updated in these smartphones.
