Meizu m3s With 13-MP Camera Gets Launched in Two Variants

Chinese smartphone company Meizu has again unveiled a brand new Android smartphone in its hometown under the moniker the Meizu m3s. The smartphone has been made available in two variants, in a way that one sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage while the other variant comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB of inbuilt storage capacity.

Both the variants have been priced differently, first at CNY 699 (generally Rs. 7,200) and the other one for CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 9,200). The Meizu m3s smartphone is available on pre-order basis on the company's official store and would go on sale from coming Friday. However, the company has yet not specified as to when would the smartphone be made available on a global platform.

Similar to Meizu Pro 5 smartphone that came with Dual-SIM support, this new addition by the company also comes with a hybrid dual-SIM card slot and operates on Android OS v5.1 based on Flyme OS v5.1. In terms of display, this device sports a 5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass protection. Under the hood, the device runs on a (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1GHz A53) MediaTek octa-core processor with Mali T860 GPU.

The company other than giving its users the option of different RAM capacities featuring specific storage capacity has also included a microSD slot (second SIM slot) in case user wants to expand its memory storage capacity up to 128GB. The GSM-handset additionally incorporates a 13-megapixel rear camera, with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture coupled with a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 opening. The Meizu m3s smartphone houses a 3020mAh battery, and comes with a unique fingerprint sensor on the home button.

The connectivity options incorporated in this smartphone are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/GLONASS support. On the dimension front the smartphone measures 141.9x69.9x8.3mm, and carries a weight of 138 grams. As per latest reports, the smartphone is made available in four color shades namely Gold, Silver, Gray and Pink.
