Just after the launch of 3 new budget smartphones as Bolt S302, Bolt Q331 and Bolt Q338, Micromax has launched another Bolt-series smartphone as the Bolt Q332. The device has been listed on the company’s site without pricing and availability mentioned yet. The company also claimed it to be "Pocket home theatre" which comes with inbuilt speakers offering an output of 96dB.
The dual-SIM smartphone features 5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Under the hoods it has an in-built storage of 2GB which is expandable to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs a 2000mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 225 hours of standby time.
The camera panel sports 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while secondary features 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The connectivity options to explore includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB and Bluetooth options. The device is listed in Black color. Measuring 141.1x73x9.7mm, it weighs 141 grams. Additional features include scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options.
With these specification list the smartphone is higher in compatibility. The other previous launches were priced at Rs. 3,199, Rs. 4,999, and Rs. 6,499 for Bolt S302, Bolt Q331 and Bolt Q338 respectively. The dual-SIM smartphones have 3G connectivity and came pre-loaded with Firstouch, a translator app (an app that translates English into the native language).
